Preload a soft bump spring so it has less travel.  After engagement, it will increase load at a slower rate.  When preloading a soft spring, you will have less push back on the rebound because the travel is limited by the preloader.  Swap out caps for different gap adjustments, we offer 1/2″ travel, 3/4″ travel, and 1″ travel.  All 3 caps are included with your purchase.
